Stampede 2010 runs from Friday July 9th to Sunday July 18th 2010!
This is our 29th Stampede at this same great location!

We have live entertainment all day and night, and an outdoor
BBQ lunch buffet
every weekday for only $13.95.
We can accommodate groups of up to 200 people both inside and on our
covered,
sheltered & heated outdoor patios.
Most larger groups will be interested in booking space from 11:30am to
3:30pm, or 4pm to 8pm.
A small $5 cover charge will apply for the live bands and we
strongly recommend the terrific BBQ buffet!.
One of the great advantages of booking with us is that we can offer a
separate area just for your group, so that your guests aren’t “lost”
in the crowd immediately on entering some cavernous tent in a parking
lot! You actually have a chance to mix and mingle with your guests,
personally conduct business or just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
And of course, our great service, comfortable facilities, and large
selection of food & drinks
at standard year round prices are also a huge plus.
Smaller groups will be interested in booking for dinner in the
restaurant which has a unique 2-course or 3-course menu at an attractive
price.

TESTICLE FESTIVAL
Every year in southern Alberta, hundreds of thousands of young male
calves are castrated in order to maintain the genetic integrity of the
cattle herds. On smaller ranches, this procedure often takes place at
the same time as the calves are branded, and the city slicker relatives
and friends who have been invited out to assist in the process are often
treated to a sample of cooked testicle - usually pan-fried over the same
fire used to heat the branding irons.
We re-create this unique experience - although with larger portions we
obtain from older calves that otherwise produce veal. And we cook them
in our our kitchen using modern techniques and unique presentations.
Every year we serve our Prairie Oysters (as they are euphemistically
called) three different ways, and we have t-shirts and BBQ aprons
available for purchase as well.
The Testicle Festival starts sometime in June and ends when the cows
come home (usually early August!). Come on down and try this unique
taste of Alberta - we guarantee you'll have a ball!!
